The true Johnny-Jump-Up. Johnny Jump-Up 'Helen Mount' is a cheerful, tri-colored Viola that is a stand-out in the cool months of the growing season (spring and fall). The dainty blooms appear very early in the season and are fragrant. Plants reseed readily and are very much at home in the rock garden or wild garden. They will re-bloom in fall if cut back in summer. Also known as Hearts-Ease, pansy, Johnny jump-up, and European field pansy.

Mature plants do fairly well in drought, though they adapt to well-drained moist soil. These plants also have excellent resistance to both heat and cold. It also grows well in rocky or sandy soil. This plant readily reseeds itself.
All multiple orders of the same seed are put in the same bag. For example if you order 500 beefsteak tomato seeds x 3 then 1500 seeds will be put in the same bag. We do not send out 3 individual bags with 500 in each. This goes for all seeds unless they are listings of different seeds.
