Scarlet Flax produces masses of brilliant red flowers characterize this drought tolerant annual. It grows in a variety of conditions and blooms in 55 days from seeding.

This flower is closely related to the variety of flax used to produce linen. Scarlet Flax does not do well when transplanted, so it is best to plant it outside in the ground. This flower favors loose, light soil in a place that has full exposure to the sun. Scarlet Flax is very drought tolerant and can withstand high temperatures. Sow these seeds in either spring or fall when planting within the United States.

All multiple orders of the same seed are put in the same bag. For example if you order 500 beefsteak tomato seeds x 3 then 1500 seeds will be put in the same bag. We do not send out 3 individual bags with 500 in each. This goes for all seeds unless they are listings of different seeds.
