1500 Red Tatsoi Mustard Seeds Asian Greens Heirloom - Premium Non-GMO

40 days. Brassica Rapa - Narinosa Group. Non-GMO Red Tatsoi makes a lovely microgreen as well as a terrific full size cool season Asian green. As a microgreen, the cotyledons open green and change to a reddish purple on about day 4. It germinates quickly and is ready for harvest in 7-10 days.

Red Tatsoi can be started indoors in warm well-drained soil, transferred to the outdoors, and planted half an inch deep and three feet apart, allowing the soil to dry out before watering. Red Tatsoi is a wonderful addition to the fall garden, overwintering in mild climates. Plant in late spring in full sun; grow undercover for early spring harvests in cold winter areas. Kale and spinach are great companions.

Mustard Red Tatsoi is available throughout the year and is adaptable to loamy and sandy soils. It flourishes best during spring and early summer. Health benefits include vitamins and antioxidants; powerful in Vitamins A, C, K, carotenoids, folate, calcium, potassium. Its versatility allows for cooking in many cuisines that use spinach, sea foods, meats, and numerous desserts. Flowers are edible and stunning for garnishing.

All multiple orders of the same seed are put in the same bag. For example if you order 500 beefsteak tomato seeds x 3 then 1500 seeds will be put in the same bag. We do not send out 3 individual bags with 500 in each. This goes for all seeds unless they are listings of different seeds.
